for Mega Horse

Our overall image that we wish to portray is
one of a basic product of quality, that is
not overstated and does a good job.
With our logo (the front label of a Mega
Horse bucket) I designed it with the
following thinking from behind the scenes.
Mega Horse is written in times new roman
font to signify that the product has “passed
the test of time”.
The horse is non-breed specific,
non-discipline specific, non-age specific,
and non-gender specific. This is to portray
the fact the product is suitable for all
horses, with no exceptions.
The horse is a cartoon character to
emphasise this, and it is also basic and
recognisable from a quick glance.
The horse is jumping over a world globe to
suggest that a Mega Horse, horse is “on top
of the world”, and also to suggest a global
product.
The wording “natural minerals trace elements
and oils" gives customers a brief
description of what it is, and “for horse
people who know the best shouldn’t cost the
earth” has a twofold meaning.
Firstly it suggests the product is
reasonably priced for the average horse
owner, and secondly because it is made by
recycling natural products and having as
minimal an impact on the environment as
possible.
Lastly, the border around the edge with the
arrows also emphasises how we create the
product - the base ingredients we procure,
and the process of getting them, affects the
animal it is fed to, it’s impact on the
earth and environment, and how it’s waste
goes back to the earth and its base.
The entire process is all interlinked and
each step affects another so loosely it
comes from the earth, is sent around the
cycle then returned to the earth.
