About us
MEGA HORSE is totally Australian created, made, owned
and manufactured.
The two principals of the company are
Adrianne Bowden and
Rick Cerato.
Rick
Cerato and Adrianne Bowden
 Adrianne Bowden has been involved with horses
since she was eight years old.
Her interest has grown
to a passion during her teenage years, then becoming a
career at University. She graduated with
a "distinction" in an Associate Diploma of Horse Husbandry.
She then moved to New Zealand for 18 months, breaking-in
and pre-training racehorses.
Her career has now become a lifestyle, owning and running
a produce store since 1994, as well as “Yagoneya”
Australian Stock Horse Stud, a small
breeding operation producing quality show stock with
good temperaments and a solid education under saddle.
Yagoneya Stud recently added another state title to
their already impressive list of National and Royal show
wins.

Rick Cerato is a
university graduate in natural therapies.
His modalities
include shiatsu, reiki, muscle release, bowen therapy
and more recently photonic light therapy.
He has been
treating people and animals for over 20 years.
Rick
believes that a balance can be achieved between
traditional western medicine and natural therapies.
As the person in charge of “logistics and finance” and
“health and well-being” in the partnership, he very
rarely rides, leaving the title of “head jockey and
trainer” to Adrianne.

Together they have created a concept that they call
“Whole
Horse Naturally”.
The main aim is to
provide information and advice to horse owners about
their animals, with the goal of creating a better
understanding of the horse from the owners perspective,
which in turn creates a more settled and happy horse.
A
large part of this concept is MEGA HORSE, which was
created to provide needed nutrition at an affordable
price.
They are not salespeople and don’t stock the produce
store with products they wouldn’t feed their own
horses.
They often send customers away from the store after
telling them not to feed their horses any additional
feed.
